Gateway Lodge No. 29 is a Masonic lodge in Clearfield, Utah where men build character, forge lifelong friendships, serve their community, and strive to leave the world a little better than they found it. U.S.A. Instituted on Sept 14, 1954
Chartered January 1955 by the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Utah, received its charter from the Grand Lodge of Utah in February 5, 1955 when it was constituted. We're Masons, The nation's most respected and longest-standing American organization, We are the world's oldest fraternal organization. Our "Meet-Up-Group" is held on every Tuesday at the Lodge building, between 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Please come meet up with us and discover even more about Utah Masonry. Regular meetings for Gateway Lodge No.29 are held at 7:30 pm on the second Tuesday of every month, with the exception of July and August, our Fellowship Dinner starts at 6:30 pm

Some of the best conversations don’t happen on social media.

They happen around a dinner table. Before a meeting begins. While serving the community. Or simply spending time with men who genuinely enjoy one another’s company.

As we get older, friendships often take a back seat to careers, responsibilities, and busy schedules. But they still matter.

At Gateway Lodge, we’ve found that when good men make time for one another, everyone is better for it.

Behind every good man is someone who believed in him, challenged him, shared hard-earned wisdom, or simply took the time to encourage him.

Freemasonry has always been a place where men learn from one another. Different ages. Different careers. Different life experiences. United by the desire to keep growing and help others do the same.

Some of life’s most valuable lessons come through conversations with people who have walked different paths, faced different challenges, and learned different things.

One of the greatest gifts of Freemasonry is the opportunity to learn from men of different generations, backgrounds, and experiences—all while sharing your own.

One small act at a time.

Whether it’s picking up litter along a local trail, helping a neighbor, mentoring a young person, or volunteering where there’s a need, communities become stronger when good people invest in them.

At Gateway Lodge, we believe becoming a better man also means helping build a better community. Service isn’t about recognition—it’s about leaving things a little better than you found them.

Most acts of character never make the news. They’re found in the everyday choices to serve others, care for our communities, and leave things a little better than we found them.

Earlier this year, Brothers from Gateway Lodge volunteered their time to help clean one of our local trails. No fanfare. No recognition. Just neighbors serving neighbors.

That’s the kind of character Freemasonry has encouraged for generations—not perfection, but a lifelong commitment to becoming better men.

Careers grow. Families change. Kids move away. Before long, many men realize they haven’t spent meaningful time with close friends in years.

The strongest friendships don’t happen by accident. They grow through shared experiences, honest conversations, and simply showing up for one another.

What do I want to stand for?

A meaningful life isn’t built overnight. It’s shaped through small choices, steady effort, and the people who challenge us to become better than we were yesterday.
