Our Story

Speaker On A Stick is a business venture from On Stage Services, the region’s largest provider of rental instruments, repair services, and event production solutions. Evolved from an underutilized inventory and heavy customer demand, Speaker On A Stick offers four different custom audio packages with a la carte add-ons, providing affordable solutions that are simple to operate regardless of previous audio experience.

Stated Frank Werner, owner of On Stage Services, “We receive a tremendous amount of rental inquiries about small P.A.’s and had enough inventory to put the packages together that would be easy for even the most novice of our customers to operate.”

The Speaker On A Stick website features four different package options, ranging from The Basic speaker and microphone for $75, up to the DJ Package for your own DIY music performance or concert. The website also offers insight on the estimated sound coverage for each package option, helping users determine the right fit for their event.

With each package there’s the ability to include additional speakers or subwoofers, wireless microphones, alternative mixers, and even a keyboard for wedding ceremonies or concerts. Each rental is complimented by instructions sheets specific to the rental package and mixer for quick and easy setup. The website’s ‘Reserve’ link enables users to place a reservation online. The FAQ page answers questions about the rental process, hours, location, compatibility, and ease of use.
