Have you ever seen a sandhill crane up close?

These tall, distinctive birds are a familiar sight around Central Florida, and we’re lucky enough to have them wandering through the neighborhood around Sunset Palms Villa.

It’s little moments like this that remind us that a Florida vacation can be about more than just the theme parks. After a busy day exploring, it’s nice to come back to a quiet neighborhood, relax by your own private pool, and maybe even spot a few of our feathered friends. 🌴☀️

So if you’re staying at Sunset Palms, keep your eyes open! You never know who might stop by for a visit! ❤️

One of our favorite local takeout spots!

If you're staying at Sunset Palms Villa and want a delicious meal without the crowds, we highly recommend Sarah Greek Cuisine!

We picked up their chicken kabob dinner and enjoyed it poolside back at the villa. Fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to relax after a busy day exploring Central Florida.

And don't leave without trying the homemade baklava... it's absolutely worth saving room for dessert! 😋

One of the best parts about staying in a vacation home is bringing back great local food to enjoy in your own private space—whether that's on the patio by the pool, or around the dining table with family.
