Another wonderful day. Started by watching a rocket launch mid morning. Pictured from the villa front garden. ( Lisa Curtis - another one due early April)
Then in the afternoon we went to Blue Springs State Park.
Famous for its manatees coming into the warm springs from December to February.
We went to see the Fireflies. Mid March to mid April. Another first for us.
A stroll in the early evening, then a talk by a bug expert and a picnic before watching the Fireflies at dusk.
Absolutely magical. Just like tiny flashing fairy lights. The video doesn’t do them justice. Well worth a visit. (Book in advance - $14 for a car and up to 8 people plus $6 park entry)

Most closing in April but the Orlando one on the 192 is staying open over the summer.
They serve the best coconut shrimp and tacos.

Absolutely beautiful.
The hotel lobbies are worth a visit too.

Why do all household gadgets have to talk to us now?!!! 🤷‍♀️

You only get to see the controls when it’s plugged in.
Bagels go in back to back.

Another first for us.
Southern Hill Pick Your Own Farms.
We arrived too late for pick your own, due to a leisurely Tiki Bar lunch, but did enjoy the goodies on offer!!!
It’s off the 27 just past Lake Louisa heading north. Almost no signage and just a dirt track entrance. Worth a couple of hours visit though.
Children’s play area and food trucks there.
Check what fruits/vegetables are ready for picking before you go.

With all the shops, restaurants and bars that entice you to spend money you will eventually fall victim to their charms!! 🤣🤣
