Our 5,000 square foot, newly renovated main lodge provides sleeping accommodations for over 20 people, inside dinning and meeting space for 75. The adjacent 6,000 square foot elevated patio offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and outdoor dining for up 300 people. Our large kitchen will provide ample space for food preparation and is located next to caterer’s entrance. Outside we

have a 2,500 square foot covered area to provide options during inclimate weather. Over 40 acres of grassy meadows allows for a large variety of outdoor activities including a disk golf course and volleyball court. The retreat has over 4 miles of established trails for hiking and mountain biking including a ¾ mile trail to the top of Long Mountain with views of the southern Blue Ridge Mountains. Nearby attractions include the tourist destinations of historic Dahlonega and alpine Helen. There are 3 Georgia state parks with a 30 minute drive of the Retreat along numerous locations for hiking, fishing, white water canoeing, and tubing.

The Retreat at Long Mountain is now able to accommodate larger groups with the addition of three cabins. These fully furnished cabins each have two bedrooms plus a loft with two additional beds, two full bathrooms and a kitchen. The cabins have everything you will need for your stay including rocking chairs on the front porch!

The Retreat at Long Mountain recently hosted Lakewood's Mantreat for MIddle and High School guys. They enjoyed fishing, shooting, archery, wood splitting and football. They held their worship services outside on the large porch under the stars.
