Most weekends don’t need defending but this one might.

Somebody was in the lake before coffee. The sauna ran long enough that dinner started without whoever was still in it. A guitar showed up at the table, uninvited, and nobody seemed to mind.
By the time the fire was going, the day had already decided it wasn’t going anywhere.
