Come camp on the peaceful banks of the Cowpasture river. This is a great place to come to get away from the noise and just relax. The river depth along the property ranges from a few inches to 6ft. Most sites offer partial shade.
We offer 8 sites. All can accommodate tents and 6 of them can accommodate RV's/Travel Trailer's up to 45ft depending on the site.
HIPCAMP does not allow us to rent tent sites, so if you want a tent site, simply choose that you are camping in a car at checkout.
All sites are $30 per night and if you opt to have Electrical Service, It is an additional $5 per night.

There is a pit toilet and sink(with running water). There are no showering facilities, sewer hookups or grey/black water tank dump station. Email us at [email protected] or text us at 540-969-6769 or 540-862-8449 if you have any questions.
We are officially permitted and licensed by the State of Virginia.
Open field area for playing games. Large communal fire pit beside the river. We also have a communal Shelter that has two booth style tables under it.
We offer a small charcoal grill for $10(covers the entire length of your stay). We have firewood for sale $5 per bundle. Some sites do not have a firepit and for those you will need to have an above ground style firepit and if you don't, we have one for rent for $10(covers the entire length of your stay).
Nearby places of interest including Falling Springs waterfall, Humpback Bridge, Lake Moomaw, Douthat State Park...all within less than an hours drive.
Only a few minutes from the closest town, incase you need food, supplies, fuel, etc.
Please note that not all cellular providers have service at this location. I know that Verizon does.
