Hidden Oasis at White Oak Landing

We're not the only ones who love it here. 🦤

This Great Blue Heron was completely unbothered at the water's edge on a recent morning — just doing what herons do while the cove stayed perfectly still around it.

Between the bald eagles last week and this one, we're starting to think the wildlife at Hidden Oasis didn't get the memo that this is a campground. Honestly, we're glad.

Two bald eagles. Right here at Hidden Oasis. 🦅🦅

Mid-afternoon on May 9th, the first one soared right over the cove and landed in a tree above the water. Then the second one followed. We stood there completely still, barely breathing, watching them settle in.

We're pretty sure the second photo caught them mid-argument. We related to that more than we'd like to admit. 😄

And that last photo? That's the tree — right behind the fire pit, right on the cove. Some evenings you're sitting around that fire and you have no idea what's watching from above.

We've always known this stretch of the Tennessee River is special. That moment made it feel official.

Some mornings at Hidden Oasis, you step outside and just stop.

This was early May — mist rising off the cove, not a sound in the world, coffee still in hand. The fire pit wasn't even lit yet and it was already the best moment of the day.

Girls night out at Clifton RV & Marina Bar and Grill — and it just happened to be karaoke night. 🎤😂

This is what a Thursday evening looks like when you're staying at Hidden Oasis. Good food, great company, and someone always brave enough to grab the mic. (Not me. Never me. 😂)

Names and faces changed to protect the innocent — you know who you are. 😉

Clifton has such a fun little local scene and this place is one of our favorites. If you haven't been, put it on your list.

One of my favorite parts of visiting our little piece of Tennessee? Grabbing the trike and heading out to explore the neighborhood. 🚴

White Oak Landing has the most beautiful quiet roads — green fields, rolling hills, not a care in the world. Tony was behind the wheel on his laptop (still hasn't taken the hint about retiring 😄) while I just... rode.

We were out here earlier this month and honestly, it never gets old. Every visit reminds me why we built this place.

Ross Creek Landing is close enough to make it an easy outing while staying in the area. We got out for a little time at Ross Creek Landing this week.

It’s one of the nice things about this area — you can have a quiet place to stay, but still be close to places to golf, eat, get on the water, or just explore around Clifton.

Working remotely does not always have to mean sitting at the same desk every day.

Sometimes it looks like opening the laptop from the RV, getting a little work done, and still being able to enjoy a peaceful place with a view.

If you can work from anywhere, why not make “anywhere” somewhere quiet?

The simple evenings usually end up being the best ones. One of the things we appreciate most here is the sense of community.

Sometimes it’s nothing more than a fire going, a few chairs pulled up, and people enjoying a quiet evening together. That simple kind of time is a big part of what makes Hidden Oasis feel special.
