Yes, this is Clifton. Not Iceland. 🌌

Back in May 2024, a rare solar storm sent the northern lights all the way down into Tennessee — and for one night, the sky over the cove turned pink and purple. One of our neighbors caught this shot, and it's still one of the best photos anyone's gotten of this place. ❤️🤍💙

A flash of red by the water. 🐦

This little guy showed up perched right at the pond's edge one summer morning, easy to spot against all that green. Between the herons, the eagles, the fox, and this cardinal, it's starting to feel like the whole neighborhood wants in on the photos.

Just one more quiet moment at Hidden Oasis. ❤️🤍💙

Somewhere between "quiet riverside site" and "whole-campground potluck," there's the pavilion. ☀️

It's the gathering spot — covered picnic tables where neighbors end up trading stories, kids run around after dinner, and plans for the next morning's coffee get made. Some of the best parts of a stay here happen right under that roof.

Pulling up to the cove in the Miramar never gets old. 🚐

This was back in May — rolling in, easing past the sign, and knowing the river was right there waiting. We're still out west for a bit longer, but moments like this one are exactly what we're looking forward to coming back to.

Caught us looking. 🦊

This little guy paused for a full stare-down right on the gravel drive one spring morning — then, about 49 seconds later, decided we weren't that interesting and trotted off toward the field like he owned the place.

Between the eagles, the herons, the turtles, and now a fox, the wildlife roster at Hidden Oasis just keeps growing. We're not complaining. ❤️🤍💙

Ten minutes from the cove and you're wandering under wrought-iron balconies on Main Street. 🏘️

Downtown Clifton is one of those small-town stretches that still feels like itself — brick storefronts, a street clock, and just enough history to make an afternoon out of it. Check the wayfinding sign by the river and you'll find even more nearby: Riverfront Park, Historic Water Street, the T.S. Stribling House, Ross Creek Golf, and the splash pad for the kids.

Whether you're staying with us for a weekend or settling in for a season, downtown Clifton is an easy add to any Hidden Oasis stay. ❤️🤍💙
