Oh brother, where art thou parking? Finding a spot may be a little bit of an adventure Saturday mornings throughout the summer, but that only means we have a vibrant Downtown and the markets and businesses are experiencing tons of support from locals like you!
If you're traveling into Downtown, here are some pro tips for getting into and around Downtown with ease:
✨Ride the Line! Mountain Line is Zero-Fare and all routes lead to Downtown; service runs late and 7-days a week.
✨Grab your bike or take a little walkie-poo; Missoula's trail system provides an ample number of options to take a jaunt into Downtown sans a vehicle
✨Check out the map below for parking options you may not have considered previously
✨YES - the gate arms are down in the garages 24/7. NO - you don't have to pay for parking evenings (after 6pm Mon-Fri) and weekends, but you still have to take a ticket.
✨YES - Parking spots designated as leased spaces in the parking garages ARE AVAILABLE for public use evenings and weekends. NO - you won't get ticketed or towed if you park in a leased spot evenings and weekends.
✨During the week, the first hour of parking is FREE in the parking garages
✨Parking is FREE after 5pm (after 6pm in the garages)
✨Note: the above parking guidelines pertain to spaces/lots managed by the Missoula Parking Commission only. Privately owned lots may have different parameters; please adhere to posted signage.
