Our family affair

We have enjoyed the opportunity to stay at the Mountain Hideaway property during various seasons and each stay has been a great experience. The home has all the amenities and more. The Golf and Hiking during the spring and summer months is awesome. Christmas Holidays were a winter wonderland. The house is laid out so all the bedrooms surround an open area with living room, kitchen and dining. Our family loves the setup and privacy. Fantastic location on the golf course and easy access to local sites and activities. Management is very helpful and always available to help if desired. Our annual family affair get-together is always a special event. We look forward to our next stay. Rob and Vicky Henderson

Beautiful house in beautiful setting.

Between the communication with the owners, the perfectly kept house (honestly, the most well-stocked rental ever), and the beautiful setting, our stay could not have been better. If/when we visit the area again, we will absolutely be booking here.

Perfect House for a Guys Weekend of Golf

This is the 6th year we have rented this house for our annual golf trip. The house is perfect for so many reasons!!!
1. It is centrally located between all the great golf courses (Grizzly Ranch, Whitehawk Ranch, Dragon, etc).
2. There are 7 twin beds and a queen Murphy bed, with 4 full bathrooms. Everyone gets there own bed and getting cleaned up is easy.
3. The seclusion is awesome and located on the 14th hole tee box or Dragon golf course. The deck is great to congregate at night and relive all the stories from the epic day of golf.
4. The Nakoma resort is right down the street if you don't want to deal with cooking and get a good meal either in the restaurant or in the bar.

The only thing I wish this place had was a whirlpool bath to soak the bones and muscles each night from all the golf we play. You will enjoy this place.

With the pressure we had been getting from clientele wanting us to remain a vacation rental property, we have opted to retain the status of the Sierra Mountain Hideaway to a short term, holiday vacation rental.....Please contact us for additional information at 530-249-9844...

Our beautiful vacation rental property will become a long term rental property effective November 1, 2017. The home is for sale so there will not be a long term lease but a month to month lease. Anyone building a home in the area in need of housing while under construction please contact Carole at 530-832-1700 or 530-249-6009 to discuss options.
