📍 Cagles Mill Lake – Water Level & Flood Stage Guide

I get asked weekly about lake levels, access points, ramp conditions, and when certain roads close. Below is a full elevation reference for Cagles Mill Lake so you can better plan your trip.

🌊 NORMAL POOL LEVELS

639.5 ft – Summer Pool Elevation
• Covers approx. 1,600 acres
• Extends about 10.3 miles

636.0 ft – Winter Pool Elevation
• Covers approx. 1,400 acres
• Extends about 10 miles

LOW WATER IMPACTS

631.0 ft – Cunot launch ramp totally exposed
629.0 ft – Beach area & IDNR launch ramp totally exposed
628.0 ft – Old Cunot launch ramp exposed
625.0 ft – Centerline of 30” bypass exposed
606.0 ft – Top of main gate exposed
596.0 ft – Bottom of main gate exposed

651.0 ft – Lieber Recreation Area boat ramp underwater
650.0 ft – Lieber marina parking lot closed

Great review from Jessica... "Booked Moss Creek for 2 nights. Booked this one specifically because it had the whirlpool tub. Drove over 2 hours to get there and everything looked great upon arrival, until we went to fill the tub.....no hot water. We contacted the owners and they sent a repair man out. Thought he had it fixed but didn't. At this point in very frustrated, it's after 11 pm and we can't even shower. I emailed the owners and told them I intended to leave the next morning.
The next morning the owner showed up. Knew it was a heating element that went bad .Gave us $50 to go have lunch while he repaired it, gave us an additional 2 free nights and a late check out. They went above and beyond to rectify the situation and make sure we were satisfied.
Extremely happy with the end result and 2 of the nicest people I have met. I definitely look forward to going back in the spring.."
