"Cheryl was an amazing host above all else! She communicated prior to booking when I had questions, after booking & next day check in instructions. She even messaged post check in to ensure things were going smoothly & met our expectations. She communicated through check out as well. The cabin has so much to offer for a peaceful relaxing staycation style weekend getaway. Being from central NC, its only a 2 hour drive for us to do a weekend mountain trip to unwind, relax & enjoy how time just moves slower there. We cannot wait to book our next weekend getaway here!"

"AMAZING! We are all sad it was a one night stay. We came for my wife’s 40th birthday. Having the goats and donkeys out front was lovely! Hot tub was nice and the fire pit was great. Thankfully Dennis helped us girls out on getting our fire fully going. We can’t wait to come back and be able to explore more."

"The interior of the grey caboose was beautifully done with the wild west theme. It had all the comfort of a posh hotel. This was amazing place to stay for all ages and watch the buffalo roaming around. We got very personal service with a 9:30 AM. Feeding along with the history and the inner workings of the ranch, truly phenomenal. Would recommend."

Review of the day: Thanks Dayna,

"This was by far one of our favorite vacation spots. The cabin was absolutely gorgeous; nestled in a private location surrounded by the most beautiful trees. We were delighted to hear her bison in the distance and many birds made beautiful music, including a woodpecker. The animals on the property added to the fun. We loved petting the sweet, eager goats. The hot tub was glorious, the bed and furniture comfortable, the house spotless, the people friendly, and reading on the huge, beautiful porch was amazing. I loved that it rained a little because the sound of rain on the metal roof was soothing and lovely. All in all an absolute dream vacation. Highly highly recommend."
