Trailhead Campground will be donating 100% of our site rental income this weekend to Rob and his family.

We are also offering a 50% discount for your campsite to anyone that will be joining us on our trail ride.

The more people we get in the campground the more we can give to Rob and his family.

Reminder to all coming to the campground or AOAA this weekend. SR 125 is CLOSED south of the park entrance.

All traffic must come from the North, ie thru Shamokin.

As of 3/12/2025 Coal Township has passed a total Fire Ban. This will reman in effect until 4/12/2025.

Gas grills are allowed, Charcoal grills are not. Propane gas fire pits are allowed. The fire must be attended the entire time it is lit. No other fuels or combustible materials are allowed to be added.
Refunds for firewood are going out today. If the burn ban is lifted we always have firewood for sale at the campground.

Northumberland County has issued a county wide burn ban.

"The ban prohibits people from igniting or burning any combustible material such as garbage, leaves, grass, twigs, litter, paper, vegetative matter or other debris out of doors in a burn barrel, fire ring or in the ground."

"The Burn ban will last until noon Dec. 2, unless otherwise extended by a resolution."

With the dry conditions and the fact that there has all ready been a small fire in the campground this week, we are prohibiting all open flames in the campground starting immediately.

Gas grills are allowed, Charcoal grills are not.

Refunds for firewood are going out today. If the burn ban is lifted we always have firewood for sale at the campground.

Anyone violating the burn ban is subject to fines from the police and dismissal from the campground.

We understand that one of the best parts of camping is having a fire. However, protecting the environment, wildlife, surrounding properties and the general safety of the public comes first.
