Today we are saying good-bye to the cast and crew that has been staying with us since the Sundance Film Festival 😢. But not without a nice send off from our new vendor and this beautiful gift box she put together for them. They have been in town filming a movie and even shot a few scenes right in our house!! We can’t say much until the film is released but if you have seen a Werewolf running around town worry no more, he has moved on 🐺. People of Coalville your pets and livestock are safe once again 😉. It was a crunchy, slippery walk to the lake this morning. I only made it to the bridge....but, the snow and ice is about 50% melted off the trail. Spring is winning!!!🌷

I love it when we have guests from warm climates that get to come and experience the beauty and majesty of winter here in Utah. It’s so exciting for someone to experience snow for the first time. We decided to visit Ice Castles going on today in Midway just a short 25 minute drive from Coalville and feel the magic of winter again. It was amazing and we froze some great moments ... more in stories. castles midway @ Midway, Utah

I have to admit I have really neglected talking about the Farmhouse since we’ve been working on the Victorian. But we stayed here last night to get ready for today’s check in and I had forgotten how cozy this place can be on a cold winter night. Farmhouse, I still love you 💕.

Writers, directors, producers , actors..... we’ve hosted them all while the has been going on in . I had just enough time between guests to bring in another find from my new hangout . That unique lamp (looks like an upside down chandy to me) table and vintage vase were found on my last shopping trip to The Old Flamingo....and there’s more where these came from 😜.

My hunt for antique decor items took me to my new favorite shop ! The story is these ottomans were flanking the fireplace 🔥 of an old mansion on Capitol Hill in Salt Lake City. They look pretty sweet with our old fireplace too. Super friendly and helpful staff and terrific finds . You’ve got to check them out if you are in the SLC area.
