Parking lot if you’d like to drive. Take your boat, canoe, kayak or go fishing! Hibernia park has trails, playgrounds, etc.

The passage of the Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776 set in motion events that would, just a year and a half later in December of 1777, see the British occupying Philadelphia and the Continental Army marching into Valley Forge for the winter.

Visit Valley Forge National Historical Park this coming Tuesday (the Fourth of July) to commemorate American Independence Day and the 247th anniversary of the passage of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. 📃
