Hidden Acres Campground

Hilda Baldwin devoted herself to hidden acres campground that she and her late husband Alfred ran together for many years. Her and Alfred created such a welcoming and fun environment that so many have enjoyed. She will be dearly missed by many. We look forward to continuing their legacy. We appreciate all of our past and present campers love and support during this difficult time.

I must say last weekend was the first weekend that we actually enjoyed such beautiful weather! There were so many people to enjoy it that we broke records on all three of our activities. Thank you all for your participation! It makes for great fun!

What a fun weekend with Christmas in July! If you haven’t checked out the Swim with Santa post you need to check it out. Could not have worked out better a lot of fun! Of course we held our Cash Bingo later in day and checked out the decorated sites. Thank you everyone for a great weekend. Check out pics.

I just had to post this mornings activity. We were so fortunate that the weather they were calling for held off. It was our Swim With Santa!
As you will see in all the pics it should have been called the Adult Swim With Santa. We had such a great time with all the Big Kids. lol. The hit was the pictures with Santa and water guns that they received in their gift bag. Games in the pool. And to finish it off Gary broke out the water balloons. (I still owe him for the hit).
I would like to thank our Santa (Scotty) and the Grinch (Murph) and Jen for the beautiful and delicious cupcakes. Of course our Bobbie Jo for the pool games and Sally for their help.
If you missed it this year you don’t want to miss next year. Every one had the best time.

Last weekend we held a poker run and our potluck Italian dinner. The dinner was not well attended but the small group we had enjoyed some delicious dishes! Thank to all who attended.

What a 4th of July Weekend! Heading up to the 4th we had the hottest days in a long long time. Then came the severe storms. We held most of our activities but had to cancel some. We had Tye Dye, Corn Hole Tournament, 2 Cash Bingo’s, 50/50, Balloon and Face Painting, and Hot Dogs for a Cure by our own
Scotty!
I must say the most popular place to be with the high heat was the Pool!
Our main event Fireworks unfortunately had to be cancelled.

This past weekend was not the best weather. So poker run held indoors and a Cash Bingo was held instead of Adult Swim. Congrats to the winners.
