Another really nice addition just went up at the park today!

There are now 6 dog bag dispensers throughout the campground and rec area for you to use. Please dispose of all dog waste in one of the dumpsters or garbage receptacles and help keep our park clean! 🐕🐾

The big weekend has arrived! 🇺🇲

We're super stoked to kick off summer with everyone this weekend and have been working incredibly hard to get the park ready. Just a few quick reminders to help keep the park safe, clean, and enjoyable for all guests:

🚗 All vehicles require an admission sticker - State Park passes do not work here and camping fees do not include admission.

🏕 Make sure you check in upon arrival! One camper per site - NO DOUBLING UP!

🤫 Quiet hours are 11pm - 8am! Please be respectful to those around you.

🎆 Fireworks (of any size) are NOT allowed in the park.

🗑 There are 18 dumpsters in the park and even more garbage receptacles... please use them! Keep your garbage out of the firepits!

🐾 Pet are welcome, but please keep them tied or leashed at all times and they must be cleaned up after!

🏍 Absolutely NO ATVs, UTVs, or dirt bikes.

We have been getting a lot of questions regarding bait sales at the office, so we wanted to share an update for everyone heading out fishing! 🎣

We currently stock:
• Red Worms
• Night Crawlers
• Leeches
• Wax Worms

At this time, we do not have any local minnow sales available.

We also wanted to let everyone know that the bait shop located at the end of BH is currently closed indefinitely. Since many visitors previously purchased minnows there, we understand why there has been some confusion this season.

The closest place to purchase minnows is Kate's Bait in Dodgeville, WI.

Their current hours are:
📍 Monday & Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
📍 Saturday: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM

They also offer a LIVE bait vending machine available 24/7 with:
• Crappie Minnows
• Walleye Minnows
• Rosy Red Minnows

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding, and we hope this helps you plan ahead for a great day on the water! We will post all bait updates here! 🐟

We have 12 new saplings up in the campground! 😁

As you can see, these are MUCH smaller than the trees that were planted at the beach, so please be mindful of them.

New hats are in!!!

We've got probably the coolest collection of new hats this place has ever seen. There are so many awesome new patterns and colors to choose from and we have both youth and adult sizes!
