What a Good Friday it has been here at your home away from home! 🌊🐰💛
Our Annual Beach Easter Egg Hunt was nothing short of AMAZING! Watching the little ones hop along the beach, laughing and smiling, truly filled the day with joy.
This year, we had over 700 eggs hidden for our kiddos—talk about an egg-citing adventure! 🥚✨
Moments like these are what make our community so special. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made today unforgettable!

Countdown has started for launch.

The launch control team recently arrived at their stations and the official countdown for the launch of the Artemis II mission began at 4:44 p.m. EDT (2044 UTC). Teams will begin methodically going through the launch countdown checklist to prepare for the liftoff of the crewed lunar mission — currently scheduled for no earlier than 6:24 p.m. EDT (2224 UTC) on Wednesday, April 1.

In preparation for the launch of the Artemis II rocket, NASA security will be closing the roads leading into the Refuge. Route 406 will be closed at the property line, just east of the Max Brewer Bridge. Route 3 will be closed south of the Haulover Canal. The draw bridge will be raised preventing vehicles from crossing. These measures will take affect in the early morning of April first, meaning that the Refuge south of Haulover canal will not be accessible on the first and the visitor center will remain closed. Canaveral National Seashore's Playalinda will be closed that day as well. If the Artemis rocket does not launch on April first, the Refuge will remain closed until it does launch, or until the launch window closes on April 6th.

Pool Deck Rules:
· Personal speakers are not permitted on the pool deck.
· For safety and space limitations, each room may use up to six seats total on the pool deck. You may occupy one table with four chairs and two loungers or six lounge chairs with no table.
· Lounges may not be reserved. Please do not hold lounges for small children.
· As a reminder, additional lounge chairs are available on the sundeck near the whirlpool bath.

This year, The Resort on Cocoa Beach proudly partnered with the Cocoa Beach Fire Department for our annual Gift Drive for teens and children of all ages—and wow, our guests truly showed up in the most incredible way. 💙
Because of your generosity, we were able to provide our community with a plethora of gifts for children of all ages. Toy drives are such a beautiful way to give back, and we believe every child deserves to feel the magic of Christmas—especially our teens, who are so often overlooked.
Last year, we launched our Teen Toy Drive, and it has quickly become a tradition we hold close to our hearts. This year reaffirmed just how important it is—and we are committed to carrying it on year after year.
