๐บ๐ธ The Fourth of July in Cody Wyoming is not just a single day. It is a five day Western celebration and this year it is bigger than ever.
2026 marks America's 250th birthday and Cody is going ALL OUT. Five days of professional rodeo. Two massive parades down Sheridan Avenue. Fireworks over the Shoshone River. The Wild West Arts Fest. Live music. Chuck Wagon dinners. And the most authentic small town Fourth of July celebration you will find anywhere in America.
Here is what is happening:
๐ค Cody Stampede Rodeo: July 1 through July 4, nightly at 8pm. Professional PRCA rodeo at its finest.
๐บ Stampede Parade: July 3 and July 4 at 9:30am down Sheridan Avenue. Free and open to everyone.
๐ Fireworks: July 4th at dusk over the Shoshone River. No tickets required.
๐ Cody Cattle Company: Chuck Wagon dinner and live Western music before the rodeo.
๐ญ Wild West Spectacular the Musical: Buffalo Bill, Annie Oakley, and Wild Bill Hickok live on stage.
๐จ Wild West Arts Fest: July 2 through July 4 in City Park. Free to attend.
And the best part? Old Faithful RV Park is just 35 minutes away on the North Fork of the Shoshone River. Just 32 miles from the East Gate of Yellowstone National Park. Spend your mornings watching wildlife in Yellowstone and your evenings at the Stampede. That is a Fourth of July worth remembering. ๐๏ธ๐ฆฌ๐
