Excited that Spring is arriving in a few days! Received my first delivery of farm fresh eggs today from Robin, owner of Log Spirit Bed & Breakfast in Athol, ID. Beautiful and delicious! Will be serving Robin's eggs from now until fall. Yummy.

I frequently do special breakfast requests for my guests. Some past requests have been Spanish tortilla (my favorite), black-eyed peas, and chicken livers with grits. I once had a request for steamed artichokes. I love it because it gives me the opportunity to try new things. TODAY, the special request was biscuits with chocolate gravy!!! O....M.....G. It is basically melted chocolate pudding on biscuits. Seriously!

Hosted a five year old's birthday tea yesterday. The girls were adorable and had a fabulous time. The birthday girl was so sweet when she gave me a special thank you. She said it was the best birthday she ever had. LOL.
