Seasonal Mosquito Spraying at Sunset Shores by Coldwater Mosquito and Pest Control

•Price per Camp site $125.00

•Spraying will start at approximately June 18th

•They spray your entire lot/site for mosquitoes. They also do an exterior barrier protection on the trailer itself which reduces the dead bugs on the trailer keeping the trailer cleaner which increases the life of seals where the bugs try to get in the trailer. This also cuts down on the bugs entering the trailer. The mosquito spraying and barrier protection ends in October around the 15th which gives each site 8 treatments.

•The cost for each treatment is $15.62 to be paid in full ahead of season, if you join later the cost is still be $125.00. There is no break for late sign ups, just less sprays; this is a special rate only for camp sites.

•If you want to sign-up for Seasonal Mosquito/barrier Protection at the Sunset Shores, please text or call Laney at 517-617-3143. Your message should include name and lot number. DO NOT under any circumstance reply on Facebook or Messenger to sign up for this service. It gets extremely confusing when people are signing up for things through so many avenues.

•Your check should be made out to Coldwater Mosquito and Pest Control for $125. Please place your check in the drop box.

Here's a post that was shared with us. Lets work together with other private campgrounds to open safely!

YOU CAN HELP SAVE THE 2020 CAMPING SEASON

Right now the fate of the summer 2020 camping season is being decided in Lansing.

We are grateful to the first responders and health care workers and political officials for working to keep us safe.

You likely have seen that the State Parks are not going to open until at least June 21 “or later”.

Mackinaw Mill Creek would like you to help us explain to our public officials that private parks can open up safely to Self-contained RV camping and cabins as early as May 7th.

Private parks care about their customers, their employees and we know how to safely open our campgrounds following social distancing guidelines. By also closing public areas like playgrounds, clubhouses, swimming pools and public restrooms help to create an even safer environment for all.

Private campgrounds are as safe as or safer than hotel, marinas and golf courses - which are currently allowed to be open to the general public.

Self-contained RV campers bring their own beds, their own kitchens and bathrooms, how can you get any safer?

Tomorrow we are asking everyone who shares these beliefs to call the governor’s office and their local representatives (Who are debating this very issue) and respectfully request that private campgrounds be allowed to open next week for self-contained RVs and cabins.

Camping is the quintessential form of social distancing. Being able to unplug and enjoy the solitude of nature provides a way for one to improve their mental health.

Thank you, be safe and enjoy the great outdoors.

TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE – Please contact your elected officials now and let them know what you think.
