October and early November is a great time for a stay at the Cottage! Perfect for relaxing outdoors in the cooler weather, going for walks or runs on the peaceful, tree lined country roads, or just snuggling up with a book or movie from our DVD collection or Netflix.

Situated on 57 acres bounded by the east fork of the Trinity River and on a dead end road that is canopied by giant trees makes this a natural retreat that is just minutes to shopping and dining. The lightly traveled paved county roads out here are absolutely perfect for running and biking! Bring your bikes, they'll be safe out here. At night the stars are bright and clear and the sunrises and evenings are beautiful. The house is surrounded by trees and since it sits on a hilltop there always seems to be a cooling breeze blowing. We live down the hill a bit so you'll see us occasionally and our amazing friendly dog Jack and a few roaming chickens. You may even see deer in the meadow and an occasional wild turkey coming up from the river. What you won't see or hear is emergency vehicles, lots of cars, loud music, or construction.

One of a kind cool country cottage, secluded yet minutes to McKinney & Frisco for easy access to shopping and restaurants. Situated high on a hill overlooking 57 acres of beauty that is bounded by the east fork of the Trinity River. The cottage is next door to what was the main home but they are completely detached for privacy. Within miles of many wedding venues, makes this perfect for guests or even the bride & groom's first night before honeymoon travel. We live nearby for quick attention.
