Welcome to River Terra in historic Colonial Beach on the Potomac River. We are a pet and children friendly bed and breakfast in Virginia’s Northern Neck. Your stay with us includes wine, tapas, bedtime nightcap and a full breakfast. Allow your mind to quiet, your stress melt and your senses to awaken. Our charming house was built in 1911 and boasts four bedrooms, a lovely interior and big porches.

We have an acre of fenced property for outside events, and provide custom designed retreats with yoga, massage, culinary arts and nature. Play cards on the sun porch, sleep late in comfy beds, daydream in the hammock, dine on locally grown food and walk or cycle into town and nearby wineries. We are rural, not boring, and there are always outdoor excursions and activities around town to explore year-round. Visit us today to unplug and rejuvenate in our peaceful space.
