This year we were proud to be recognized by our community and our guests as the Gold Best Hotel, Gold Best Hotel Bar, Silver Best Swimming Pool, and Bronze Best Live Music venue in Colorado Springs by The Gazette.

Happy National Dog Day from Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort! We are a dog-friendly independently owned hotel, which means you can bring your four-legged bestie with you on your Pikes Peak Region adventure!

Our dog-friendly rooms make for a great escape into Garden of the Gods, walking Manitou Springs, or hanging out on the patio while listening to live music!

While visiting us at Buffalo Lodge, we ask all pet owners to be mindful of your pet's comfort level while on our property; we have a a lot going on with live music (loud and dancing), cycling (can be scary looking), and crowds (strange danger)!

Please let us know you're bring your pup, so we can ensure you're in the correct room.

What if every bike ride became a game — not about speed or distance, but about discovery? On this episode, host Torie Giffin talks with longtime friend and local cyclist Michael Watry about Wandrer, a worldwide exploration game where every new mile earns a point, turning ordinary rides into adventures full of hidden neighborhoods, trails, and unexpected scenery.

Michael shares how Wandrer has changed the way he rides at home and on the road, his time with SOCO Velo and the Buffalo Lodge Bike Tribe, and some of the biggest cycling challenges he's taken on. Beyond the bike, we hear about his life as a musician and how he and his wife, watercolor artist Lorraine Watry, are embracing their empty-nester years with new adventures and creative projects.
