trouble finding a suitable site, I don't think there is an undesirable spot on the whole grounds. We love to have a grassy area and trees around us. We don't care for the RV parks that just look like a big parking lot... this is much more family friendly and truly an attractive "camp" ground. It's a short drive from our home but we feel like we're in a whole other world. It's peaceful and feels like the country without being far from actual civilization. There is a full service grocery store only 10 minutes away! Yet we are never bothered by the sounds/sites of traffic. We haven't used it but there is a large pavilion and gathering area that can easily accommodate a family reunion or other group get-togethers too. The May Natural History Museum is at the Welcome Center for the Campgrounds. The owners are incredibly friendly and attentive but never intrusive. The Fourth of July—also known as Independence Day or July 4th—celebrates the birth of American independence from the British Empire. On July 2, 1776, the Continental Congress voted in favor of independence, and two days later delegates from the 13 colonies adopted the Declaration of Independence.
