On September 24, 1958, a group of 6 Whitley County men met at the Elks Lodge to begin what is now the Columbia City Chapter of SPEBSQSA (now called the Barbershop Harmony Society). The name of the Chorus was changed in 1963 to the Chain-O-Lakes Chorus and is known by that name today. The Chorus has been meeting continuously since then and meets each Tuesday evening at 6:45 P.M. at The Woodlands Senior Center, 710 Opportunity Drive, Columbia City. With 15 members today, the Chorus is as vibrant as it has ever been and continues to entertain throughout the region. Every year the Chorus performed for various groups and organizations throughout Whitley, Kosciusko, and Allen Counties. We are available for retirement parties, anniversaries, corporate functions, class reunions, or any occasion that needs entertainment. For information or booking, please call 260.249.8229.
