With the Going-To-The-Sun Road open from the west entrance to Rising Sun, driving to Logan Pass is now possible, conjuring images of a beautiful, alpine landscape. But along with thoughts of glacier lilies and snow-speckled mountain peaks, parking your vehicle is also worth thinking about.

In busy summer months, along with other popular park destinations such as Avalanche, the parking lot at Logan Pass Visitor Center usually fills before 8:00am, and can fill before 7:00am on especially busy days. When planning your trip, don’t forget to pack your patience, and come prepared with a backup plan and alternate destinations.

To help the chance of finding a parking spot, arrive early, or start your visit at other areas of the park and plan to visit Logan Pass later in the day. Visitor information services are staffed outside of the visitor center 9:00am – 4:00pm, and restroom facilities and potable water are available.

The Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park will open to motorized vehicles from the west entrance to Logan Pass and as far as Rising Sun on Monday, July 13, pending any last-minute changes due to weather, the park said late Thursday in a press release.

We are a two generation family owned and operated Bed and Breakfast ideally located in the sweet town of Columbia Falls also know as "The Gateway to Glacier" ideally located just minutes away from the "West Gate entrance to Glacier National Park", Meadow Lake Golf Course, Skiing at Whitefish Mountain Resort, Glacier International Airport, Whitefish, Kalispell, and Big Fork. Meadow Lake View Bed and Breakfast is a great hotel alternative, offering a warm blend of contemporary and traditional Montana hospitality. Each morning gourmet breakfasts are served with views of the forest and the 17th fairway of the Meadow Lake Golf Course. The location hosts an array of outdoor activities for all seasons, such as; golf, downhill and cross country skiing, walking and hiking trails, cycling and mountain biking, fishing and numerous other activities. Our B&B is an adult based inn, but we do welcome young adults 18 years & older.

Come stay in one of our 4 newly renovated guest rooms, each with it's own private bath with a Tub/Shower Combination and Granite Vanities. Our beds are adorned with beautiful crisp white linens and fluffy warm duvets. Our rooms also feature; a desk/work station, flat screen T.V.'s, free WiFi, blow dryers, and make up mirrors. During your stay with us, curl up by the warm fire surrounded by the beautiful river rock fireplace in our great room or sit on one of our back decks with beautiful views of deer wandering through the property. Here you can relax, think about the great day you've experienced and plan your next adventure.

Awake to the smell of fresh coffee brewing and our delectable breakfasts being prepared. Breakfast is served at 8:00 am. Breakfasts vary daily. We base our recipes around the freshest ingredients of the season and do our best to include organic produce from our local growers here in town. We are happy to accommodate our guests with their food requests.
