Much of the Pacific Northwest, including Glacier National Park, will be under a fire weather watch from Saturday afternoon through Saturday evening. This means that critical fire weather conditions are possible due to a combination of gusty winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures.🌡️

Although there are currently no active fires in the park, you should be prepared for 10-25 mph winds with gusts up to 45 mph. These conditions are ideal for fire starts to spread rapidly.

Wildfire is a natural and important part of Glacier’s ecology, but it can pose a threat to people and property. Extreme caution should be exercised even though no fire restrictions are currently in effect in Glacier National Park:

🔥Regularly check for any fire restrictions in the area.
🔥Consider alternatives to campfires during periods of high fire danger. Outdoor burning is not recommended during a fire weather watch.
🔥Do not leave your campfire or portable stoves unattended and be sure they are out cold before walking away.

Springtime in Montana!

The rivers swell, the trees stand knee-deep in fresh runoff, and the sky can’t decide between sunshine and storm—and somehow, that’s what makes it perfect.

It’s a season that reminds you nature is in charge… and honestly, that’s part of the magic.

If you’ve been craving space to breathe, slow down, and reconnect—this is your sign.
