We are back at this again! The down duvet went back on today after being put away last month.

With this yo-yo weather, it's hard to know when it's time to switch to the summer bedding and put away the goose-down duvet. It's supposed to be in the 80s tomorrow, but it's still in the 40s at night. Guess we'll just leave the summer duvet on the side bench for now. . .

Colleen planted a few milkweed seeds around 2019, hoping to attract some Monarch Butterflies. Still haven’t seen any, but every year the milkweeds come back in increasing number! (Which is amazing because we have had no luck at all growing them at the bigger house). They look beautiful now, but near the end, they sure are ugly. But we love them!

We subscribe to a county text system that provides updates on Yosemite Traffic. Every day (even weekdays) parking has been full super early. This is different this year because reservations are no longer required for Day Use. We highly recommend planning to be parked by 7am. Or, consider taking the Yosemite Bus from downtown Sonora (“YARTS”). If you arrive to the park after 11, be prepared for traffic. (no fun visiting the most beautiful place on earth but spending 2 hours in a traffic jam). Follow us for more tips. 🙂

We took advantage of a slow week for a much needed deep clean. Upholstery, vents, light fixtures, strip and recoat floor, even washed all of the interior walls! Nice fresh start to the new year!
