We’ve had an incredible start to the year here at Family Built Motel! Since January, we’ve welcomed a steady flow of guests and are so thankful for the continued support.

With the high volume of foot traffic, we made the intentional decision this week to temporarily close select rooms so our team could complete a full deep clean, add some decor and reset. This wasn’t just the usual turnover—every room received EXTRA attention and care to ensure it meets the highest standard of cleanliness we hold ourselves to. Providing a spotless, fresh, and comfortable space for every guest is one of our top priorities, and something we never compromise on.

We’re happy to share that all rooms will back open and ready for reservations this weekend!

You’ve probably heard the news by now… Family Built Motel is for sale!

But don’t worry — we’re not going anywhere just yet, and the motel is NOT closing! 🙌

What started as a dream turned into something so much bigger than we ever imagined. Our family poured our hearts into completely reimagining this space — and watching it grow into a place that truly serves our community has been an incredible honor. And thanks to YOU, it has become a thriving, busy, and successful business that continues to stay booked and meet a real need in our area.

Now, it’s time for the next chapter. We’re excited to pass this opportunity on to a new owner who can continue building on what’s been created here — while we step forward into the next project God has placed on our hearts.
