49th Annual Hocking Hills Trail Run, starts from 7:00 AM
Hocking Hills State Park, beginning near the Naturalist Cabin by the Old Man's Cave Visitor Center. Race options range from 5K to 50K; start times run from 7:00 to 9:30 AM. Registration is required and capacity is limited.
Hocking County Farmers Market, 9:00 AM β 12:00 PM
Courthouse parking lot on Main Street, Logan. Shop local farmers, bakers, crafters, and small businesses.
Remember: Lights in the Sky Celebration Drone Show, 12:00 PM β 9:00 PM
Hocking Hills Lodge, 20020 State Route 664 South, Logan. Free afternoon activities lead into a synchronized patriotic drone show after dark. Large crowds and limited parking are expected, so arrive early and plan ahead. Once parking fills, guests will be directed to an alternate area; Burr Oak Lodge and Deer Creek Lodge will present the same drone show. The free weekend shuttle serves Hocking Hills Lodge during the day, with final service ending at 6:30 PM; plan alternate transportation after the evening show.

Hocking County Historical Society Museum, 64 North Culver Street, Logan. This free outdoor, hands-on workshop covers Dutch oven history, equipment, fire and coal management, care, and traditional recipes. Equipment and ingredients are provided; wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes.

The Hocking Valley Community Orchestra performs at 7:00 PM, followed by observing the harvest moon and Saturn. This is a fundraiser; a parking pass is required.

Event headquarters are at Campbell Cove RV Resort & Campground, 30713 Lake Logan Road, Logan. The weekend includes a scenic drive, guided trail rides, an obstacle course, raffles, and off-road activities supporting Rescue 101. Registration is $60 per adult and $20 per child.

Departing from 33 West Canal Street, Nelsonville. Trains run Thursday through Sunday in October, plus November 1; weekday departures are at 1:00 PM and weekend departures are at 11:00 AM and 2:30 PM. Advance tickets are recommended.
Nelsonville Halloween Trains β October 23, 24, 30, and 31, 6:00 PM
Four family-friendly evening departures feature costumes, treats, seasonal activities at Robbins Crossing, and a haunted train car. Advance tickets are recommended.
