Hi everyone, welcome to the updated Holekamp Guest Haus page. One year ago this week, Joe and Ella Gay purchased the Holekamp House from the former owners, John and Mary Straley. They had operated the Holekamp House B&B for almost 15 years and were ready for a new adventure. They were the fourth owners of this amazing home and we’re excited to be the fifth. They were excellent stewards of the property and had done a great job caring for the home.
Over the last 12 months, this historic property has been completely updated and refurbished -- every room has been meticulously appointed with beautiful furnishings, fabrics, and decor. Having laid the groundwork, we are now in the final stages of getting our website, Holekamphaus.com, up and running and we’re working on getting our social media presence together as well. For those of you who have been guests over the years, we look forward to meeting you on an upcoming stay. We’re excited to show you the changes! For all of our friends and recent guests, we're thankful for your support.
In April of 2018, the Holekamp Guest Haus was featured in the Comfort Heritage Foundation's 2018 Historic Home Tour with more than 200 visitors enjoying the opportunity to see this restored jewel.
