The Ponca Elk Education Center at Ponca invites you to join us for Buffalo National River Experience.
The National Park Service is pleased to offer “Second Saturday” from January through March where participants will “experience” Buffalo National River during this one hour program highlighting the unique natural and cultural features of the upper Buffalo River.
Parents, are you looking for something to do with the kids on a cold Saturday afternoon? Bring them to the center at the east end of Boxley Valley for a fun indoor activity. Chidren can make a craft to take home. All materials are provided.
This event is open to the public at no charge, so make your plans to join us on first of our “Second Saturday” events March 10 at 2 p.m. in the town of Ponca on Hwy 43.
Extreme winter weather or bad roads could make for a schedule change.
