A group went down from 1050 bridge to River Crossing. Ages 8-82. Said it was a nice float and took about 40 min. From Houston and doing this trip for 36 years!

Third snow event of the year up here. It’s been falling since 5:00am and still coming down. Really fun to see, but a spring 80 degrees is starting to sound really nice about right now!

Good evening! Start 2021 off right and nail down a get-a-way to the Frio Canyon again this year! We are glad to help you book a cabin or rv site from 9 to 6pm Monday-Saturday. June is filling up, but there are some openings for Spring Break, Easter Weekend, Memorial Weekend, July/August and Labor Day.

A lot of info flying around about closures, so I would like to update some facts. The Frio River is not closed. Garner State Park is still open and so is 4J Riverway! Our park store and office is open for business, but through window sales only. Thank you for your support!!

Our Lone Star Cabin is getting close to finished. Here is some progress pics, on the updates for the Lone Star Cabin. Lone Star rates will remain the same as the past several years. We are also finishing updates to the Candice Cabin, Kara Cabin, and Inlaws Cabin.
( The Kyle Cabin was finished last spring. )
