Last call for the weekend.

We're still holding a couple of rental RVs and a handful of sites. Once they're gone, that's the holiday.

Ask anybody who's been coming here twenty years which weekend they'd pick, and a good number of them say this one.

The water's still warm enough to swim. The air's clearer. The mornings have that little bite that makes coffee outside feel like something special. The fish are moving. And there's enough room on the lake that you're not sharing your cove with anybody.

Three fully equipped rental RVs and about a dozen RV pull-through sites are still open for the weekend. After that we start winding down toward fall.

If you've already got the rig hitched up and no plan for the weekend, we've got about a dozen sites open.

Full hookups at every one. Spacious pull-throughs — no forty-five minutes of backing in while somebody watches. Fire pit at your site, firewood at the office. Clean restrooms and laundry on site. Kayaks and canoes are included with your stay, no extra charge.

$50 a night plus tax. From Wenatchee you're about two and a half hours out. From Spokane, three.

Here's the thing people don't realize: you don't have to own an RV to stay in one of ours.

Three of ours are sitting here right now, made up and ready. Queen bed with sheets, blankets, and pillows already on it. Private bathroom with a shower. A kitchen with a fridge, stove, microwave, coffee pot, pots, pans, dishes, and silverware. A table that seats four. Starlink Wi-Fi across the whole property.

It's a cabin that happens to have wheels. You show up with groceries and a bag.

The smoke lifted, the lake went flat, and here's the part that surprised us: Labor Day weekend isn't full.

We still have three of our rental RVs open. Those come fully set up — queen bed, private bathroom with a shower, real kitchen with pots and pans and dishes, table for four. You bring groceries and a duffel bag and that's the whole packing list. @ $110 a night plus tax.

We've also got about a dozen RV sites left. Full hookups, spacious pull-throughs, fire pit at every site, @ $50 a night plus tax.

Labor Day weekend — September 4 through 7 — is the last big one of the season, and we still have room.

One of our guests reeled this beauty in right off the lake this week — and honestly, we can't even be mad that it makes our name look bad for once. Bass are hitting good in the warm shallows right now, and the water's calm enough most mornings that you barely need to leave the dock.

The smoke's lifting. Anna Lisa took this one off our dock yesterday morning — blue sky back over the water and the hills showing up again for the first time in weeks.

We're open, and the fish are on. Bass in the warm shallows, kokanee down deep if you've got a downrigger, and mornings cool enough for a sweatshirt and coffee on the dock. We're named Liars Cove, so you're welcome to doubt a fish story — but not this one.

Cabins, RV sites, and pontoons are open right now. Come on down. 🎣
