Hey travelers.....In light of the C. virus, I want to ensure you that your room at the Northgate Motel will be disinfected, clean, clean, clean. All bedding, sheets pillow cases blankets and bed spreads will be fresh/new for each guest. I have decided that rooms will be cleaned and left un-occupied for 24 hours before I rent them out to the next guest. When you check into the motel my check in area is small. Not big enough for more than 2 people. You park your car just outside your room door. No common hallway. I hate to say it, but you can almost self quarantine at the Northgate. If you would like to cook, outside of course, the BBQ is available. Tables for dining outside.

I have had quite a few "Messages" on the motel page that I have not responded too, and I apologise. The best way to check on avaliabilty and prices is to call the motel 406-278-3516. It is not that I don't want to respond, I seem to have something set, or not set correctly. Thank you.....Jerry

Welcom to the Northgate Motel....Just some information on our pet policy. Pets stay at no charge, however a credit card is required. If you 4 legged companion is on the beds, or make a mess in the room, a cleaning charge will be applied to your card. No pets unattended in the rooms at any time. Pets leashed while outside, and cleaned up after. Thank you for your understanding. Its a privelage to have you stay.

Its been a interesting pheasant season so far. Hunters from the U.S and Canada are enjoying mild weather, and a skift of tracking snow. The Pheasants Forever Calgary Alberta donation reciepients were just here. We enjoied having them stay and hunt. Thank you to PH Calgary and Phoenix Tech for making that happen. The Montana Steak dinner was a relaxing eventing with some great Ribeye steaks and good wine. Looking forward to another 6 weeks of the season. Keep up the tradition.

We will be barbecuing AUG 1-9 for the 75th annual Sturgis rally.

Our Story

We offer low rates, and personable hospitality. There are single and double rooms available, as well as three houses that can accommodate up to seven people! At the Northgate Motel, guests have the unique opportunity to have a campfire in our front yard if they like. Dogs are welcome at no extra charge. If guests stay for seven consecutive nights, we offer the 7th night free!

Our cancellation policy.....We are a small motel with only 7 rooms. My cancellation policy is rather harsh and changes during the year, and changes for different events. From September 1st to January 1st of each year the cancellation policy is 2 weeks notice. The rest of the year it is 48 hour notice with some exceptions. I charge for your entire reservation. For example, if you make a reservation for 4 days in a single room the total charge for your stay is 240.00. That is what you will be charged. Reservations do require a credit card to guarantee the room. Reservations are for the Credit Card holder only. If you foresee a problem keeping your reservation, for example a family member getting ill, call. Communication is key.

Pets.....We do not charge for pets. If you have a pet, a credit card is required. If your pet makes a mess in the room, or is on the bed we charge accordingly. Normal responsible pet owner rules apply. Clean up after them inside and out. A pooper scooper is available in the front yard. Pets cannot be left unattended in the rooms.
