Labor Day for us this year is all about the renovation! Phase one demo is done. Buildings are getting new roofs, we’re picking up cedar and redwood lumber, new cabinets, butcher block countertops and more on Friday, fieldstone walls and bluestone hardscaping is amplifying the magic of the property. Spaces for saunas, hot tubs and fireplaces are cleared and those builds start in the next two weeks. And if we keep on pace we’ll welcome our first guests to the new “True Measure” cabin in early November. Stay tuned for the stories of how we chose the special names for the cabins!

We're hiring!

We're looking for a part-time housekeeper for our motel and cottage property on Route 16 in Conway.

We're currently open as Tanglewood Motel & Cottages, and we're in the middle of renovating and rebranding the property as The Finn, reopening in 2027 with refreshed cottages, new cabins, and a Finnish sauna. Come be part of the journey from the beginning.

What you'd do

Clean and reset guest rooms and cottages between stays
Wash, dry, fold, and restock linens and towels
Restock guest supplies and flag anything that needs repair
Keep the laundry and common areas in order

What we're looking for

Dependable and self-directed. You'll often be working on your own.
Comfortable being on your feet, bending, and lifting laundry
Weekend availability required
Reliable transportation to Route 16 in Conway
No hotel experience needed. We'll train you.

Hours and pay
20 hours per week guaranteed, Wednesday through Sunday, with the potential to grow and be cross trained with management as the property grows. Strong hourly rate for the right candidate, paid weekly.
