The Northwoods are showing off right now. Fiery reds, golden yellows, and that deep evergreen reflected on the water. This is the two or three weeks people wait all year for, and it's happening right now. 🔥

What a summer it's been on Lake Vermilion. As the leaves turn and the docks start coming in, we want to take a moment to thank the people who make it all possible: the resort owners, lodge keepers, and property hosts who welcomed guests all season long. Your hard work, early mornings, and genuine up-north hospitality are the heart of this lake. From all of us — thank you. 🙌

And here's the good news: the fun doesn't have to end. Several of our properties stay open right through the fall, and some welcome guests all year round. So if you love crisp air, quiet water, or a winter adventure in the Northwoods, there's still a place for you here. ❄️🎣

☀️ Blue skies and calm water on Lake Vermilion today... nothing but sunshine! 🍂

The lake cams are looking downright gorgeous, with the fall colors just starting to turn along the shore. We've got a couple of beautiful days ahead, so if you're up here, get out and soak it in. 🚤

A little rain's rolling in after that, but don't let it keep you off the water. Any angler will tell you the fish often bite better when the weather turns. 🎣 A gray, drizzly day can be some of the best fishing you'll find, so pack the rain jacket and go anyway. The walleye don't mind getting wet, and neither should you.

Sun or showers, it's a good time to be on Lake Vermilion. 💙

🎣 The fall bite is taking off on Lake Vermilion. Catch it while you can!

This is the good stuff. The air's getting a bite to it at night, and the walleye, muskie, and crappies are feeding. Ask anybody who fishes up here, fall is when it happens!

So load the boat, grab your buddies, and get up here for some epic time on the lake! The fish are biting. Don't sleep on it.

This is our kind of fair food. 🔥

Sure, it's State Fair season, and we love a good corn dog as much as anyone. But if you're craving some fun without the $30 parking, the crowds, and the lines… we invite to head north instead. On Lake Vermilion, the food on a stick is a marshmallow roasted golden over a crackling fire. The only "parking" is your boat tied to the dock. 🛶 And the only lines you'll wait in are the ones you cast into the water.

Relax & enjoy the original food on a stick. We saved you a seat by the fire. 🌲
