Skyline Guest Ranch is located in Cooke City, Montana, in the heart of the Beartooth Mountains, just seven miles from Yellowstone National Park.

Skyline offers premium vacation packages, lodging accommodations, horseback riding, fishing, and camping! Nestled in the heart and soul of the Rocky Mountains, Skyline Guest Ranch provides easy access to the sights and wonders of Yellowstone National Park, the Beartooth Scenic Byway, and the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness. We operate as authorized concessionaires by permit of Yellowstone National Park and the Gallatin National Forest. In the fall of 2021, Luke and Lara Morris proudly assumed ownership of Skyline Guest Ranch, marking the fourth generation to steward this remarkable legacy. Lara's childhood memories are woven into the fabric of the ranch, making her connection deeply rooted. Lara's unwavering commitment, genuine kindness, and boundless generosity define the heart of the ranch. Without Lara's touch, Skyline Guest Ranch simply wouldn't be the same—a testament to her vision and hard work. Luke discovered his passion for the business in 1997 through his relationship with Lara. He quickly fell in love with the ranch, having big dreams of raising his family in the mountains of Montana, all while allowing others to experience the pure majesty right in our backyard. His dedication shines through as he enthusiastically shares the majesty of Montana with individuals and families.

And just like that, with a beautiful fall snowstorm, our 2026 season has officially come to an end!

What a season it has been, and what a beautiful last day spent with the horses on the mountain ranch. We couldn’t have dreamed up a prettier way to close out another unforgettable summer at Skyline.

As we wrap up another season, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you who made this year so special.

To those who traveled from near and far, returned for another adventure, or experienced Skyline for the very first time, thank you. Thank you for trusting our family with your precious vacation time and allowing us to share this beautiful little corner of the world with you.

Being able to help people experience this incredible land, whether from the back of a horse, around a campfire, or watching the sun rise over the Lamar Valley, is an honor and a privilege we never take for granted.

Hi everyone! I’m Kameesha!

I’m the photographer and creative behind Skyline Guest Ranch’s social media, website, and design, and I absolutely love documenting and sharing our life up here in these beautiful mountains.

I thought it would be fun to step out from behind the camera and introduce myself!

I was raised at Skyline and grew up guiding horseback riding and fly-fishing trips throughout the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. As I grew up, so did my passion for helping others experience this incredible place I’m so fortunate to call home. These days, my role at Skyline allows me to take that passion one step further by helping guests plan their perfect Yellowstone vacations. I love getting to know what someone hopes to experience and helping create a trip they’ll remember for decades. Creating memories has always been at the heart of what I love about Skyline, and now I get to be part of the process from the very first inquiry to the final goodbye!

Outside of work, I’m a mom to two little boys growing up in these same mountains. Taking them riding and fishing, sharing the places I grew up exploring, and watching them make their own memories in these mountains feels pretty special!

My undergraduate degree is in Environmental Science, which comes in handy as the co-owner of Skyline Safari Co.. But I sure wish I’d squeezed in some photography and graphic design classes too! Both have become some of my biggest passions.

I love how photography can freeze time and preserve not just what a moment looked like, but what it felt like. Whether it’s fresh-baked cookies, a mountaintop elopement, cowboys bringing calves to the fire at a spring branding, or my boys splashing in puddles after a summer rain, my intention is always the same: preserve the memories, preserve the feeling.

I hope that passion comes through in the photos and videos I share here.

MEET ANNIE!

One of the newest additions to our trail crew, Annie has been so much fun to have at Skyline this season! She brings an easygoing personality, great energy, and a love for adventure wherever she goes.

Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Annie has made her way around the West (and beyond!), living in Arizona, Colorado, California, Montana, and now Oahu, Hawaii. She studied Marketing at Northern Arizona University, but these days you’re much more likely to find her on the back of a horse, catching a wave, or headed to the mountains to snowboard.

Around Skyline, Annie’s favorite horse is Buckette, and if she had to choose just one trail ride, Russell Lake takes the top spot!

If you’ve had the chance to ride with Annie, you already know the fun energy she brings to a day on the trail!
