Walk among giants on the Longfellow Trail.
Nestled in the heart of Cook Forest, the Longfellow Trail offers an unforgettable journey through the Forest Cathedral—one of the largest remaining stands of ancient white pine and eastern hemlock in the Northeast. As you hike, you'll pass towering trees reaching more than 180 feet into the sky (some of them over 300 years old!), the historic Memorial Fountain, and a fascinating wind-throw area that tells the story of the forest's resilience.
Whether you choose the shorter out-and-back or the scenic loop, this peaceful hike is the perfect way to experience the natural beauty that makes Clarion County so special. Just don't forget your hiking boots—and your camera!
Parking is available at the Log Cabin Environmental Learning Center.
