Hotel Room Housekeeper Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize assigned guest rooms, including bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Strip beds, change linens, and make beds in accordance with established hotel standards.
Replenish amenities such as toiletries, towels, and linens in guest rooms.
Vacuum carpets and dust surfaces to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
Empty trash and replace garbage bags in guest rooms.
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or equipment malfunctions to the housekeeping supervisor.
Maintain stock of cleaning supplies and inform the housekeeping supervisor when supplies need replenishing.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for both yourself and your guests.
Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and timely manner, providing exceptional customer service.
Hotel Room Housekeeper Required Skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending and lifting.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with guests and team members.
Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
Professional and courteous attitude towards guests and team members.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role within the hospitality industry is plus but not required.
Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
