Thank You for an Amazing 2026 Season at S**o River Hideaway Campground! 🏕️✨
As our 2026 camping season comes to a close, Mike and I want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to all of you. Thank you for choosing S**o River Hideaway Campground as your summer getaway and travel destination.
Because of you, we’ve built a truly wonderful community—a place where families and friends gather to laugh, enjoy the S**o River with tubing, kayaking, and fishing, make lasting memories, and forge lifelong friendships.
This year was filled with exciting events and major upgrades, including:
⚡ Upgraded Crescent Cove Group Tent Sites: We brought power to our secluded and protected Crescent Cove group tent sites! Now featuring both power and water, these sites offer a more luxurious, comfortable tent camping experience.
🚜 Site & Road Improvements: We rebuilt, extended, and leveled 6 sites in the Grizzly section, along with leveling many of our roads across different sections for easier access.
🎉 Unforgettable Events: From our dazzling July 4th fireworks to country line dancing and energetic group karaoke, this season was packed with fun!
🏢 The New Clubhouse: We finished our second-floor clubhouse right above the camp store—providing a cozy, protected space for gaming and small gatherings.
📱 Tech Improvements & Excited News for 2027!
This season, we introduced the Happy Campers reservation system and the Campfire Social app, which were both huge successes—helping us increase bookings by over 38%!
To make your experience even better, we are excited to announce that we are combining these two systems into one seamless platform called Happy Campers Connect, launching in 2027!
