The morning sky was calling ... the clouds were even more impressive in person! Great way to start the day!!🫶🏻

Could sit here all evening watching these clouds move across the sky. The pink just makes it that much harder to go inside. 💗

Almost high tide, and there’s still plenty of beach! Our nor’easter has moved on, and just a few remnants remain. Such a gift to see our beach mostly back to normal.

Grateful for this peaceful morning in Corolla and praying for everyone in Florida and along the Gulf Coast preparing for Hurricane Isaias. 💙

A little tattered and torn from the nor'easter, but the beach is back!🏖️🫶🏻

Today’s update: The nor’easter has moved out, and the sun is shining again. The surf is still rough and debris remains on the beach, but it’s good to be on the other side of this storm!

The nor’easter has pushed the dunes back and taken the fences, but the dunes are still doing their job. But it's still 1 hour til sunrise.🙏🏻

Beautiful sunset sky as the nor'easter is moving north, the ocean is still angry but the winds have died down.🙏🏻

Today's update, our newly installed dune fences destroyed!🥲 This nor'easter is leaving its mark.

We’re here for better or for worse, and Corolla is giving us a little of both! This weekend was gorgeous: a huge beach and an ocean perfect for swimming. Now a nor’easter is brewing, and what a difference.

But very grateful for our dunes and for every day we get to spend in our happy place!🌊
