The summer is winding down, but that makes it the perfect time to head to Corolla. The water is warmer and the town a little quieter. Ocean Paradise just opened up our calendar for short stays (3 night min) for the rest of the year. Come stay with us and see for yourself why we consider it paradise!

☀️Oceanside- short walk to the quiet, private beach.

☀️Beautiful lake view. Lake has a walking trail and allows fishing/kayaking.

🛏️ 6 bedrooms- sleeps 16. 4 King rooms and 2 double bunk rooms (8 twin beds). All bedrooms have flat screen TVs and room darkening curtains.

💦Private pool, hot tub, outdoor shower and foot wash. Also a community pool, 🎾tennis courts and pickleball courts

🎱Second family room with kitchenette, Roku tv, pool table and foosball.

😁Corn hole, jumbo Connect 4, jumbo Ker Plunk and a cabinet full of books, puzzles and lots of other games.

🥯Each week stay receives a dozen bagels and tub of cream cheese from Lighthouse Bagels.

Just got back from my little slice of paradise. The weather was perfect. We enjoyed beach and pool time as well as the Corolla 4th fireworks and many beautiful sunsets. Northern OBX is such a special place.

Of course I wouldn’t be me if I also didn’t make some house improvements while I was there.

1.Added deep seating and a rug to the screen porch. I sat out there every night before bed listening to the beautiful sounds of nature. It’s my new favorite spot.

2. Rearranged some existing furniture to create a seating area behind the couch. Great place for having a meal while watching tv or even working on your laptop.

3. Added a jumbo connect 4 to the midlevel front deck for more family fun.

4. Discovered that thoughtful guests left a jumbo Ker Plunk for all to enjoy (thanks!) as well as moved the living room furniture around to incorporate the third couch instead of the arm chairs. I really like the change and decided to keep it this way.

5. Got a new ottoman for the captains watch. It’s a great place for reading & relaxing.

I was washing dishes when I was surprised by this stunning site. Nothing like a sink with a view. If you haven’t experienced a Corolla sunset, you really need to fix that.

One of the things I enjoy the most at a beach house is a good outdoor shower. I always said if I ever owned a place it MUST have one. When we bought Ocean Paradise in 2023, the outdoor shower definitely needed some love. While not photographed in our listing (keep forgetting to have that updated), we made lots of improvements. We added a Trek floor, new bench, shelf, lots of hooks and a new shower head and faucet. It is perfect!

Just spent the last week making sure everything in our home is in the best shape to welcome our guests.

We added brand new pool deck loungers/side tables, and have lots of other comfy outdoor seating to enjoy the serene lake view with your favorite beverage. It’s definitely where I take my coffee.

Situated perfectly between the Atlantic Ocean and the community lake, Ocean Paradise offers sounds of the crashing waves and tranquil views of the lake. Nothing is better for the soul than eating a meal or watching the sunset overlooking all this beauty. If you haven’t experienced a Corolla sunset yet, you really need to book a trip.

Ocean Paradise is still available for Spring Break, some prime summer weeks, and shorter stays in the off-season. Checkout our lovingly updated and maintained home. It’s the perfect spot to gather with friends and family, and enjoy all the amazing things the OBX has to offer.
