Meanwhile, moon jellyfish are out here doing just fine. 🪼

Moon jellies don’t need a brain or complex organs to go about their day. Instead, they have a simple nerve net that helps them sense and respond to their surroundings. Their body is also equipped to handle essential functions like eating, digesting and moving through the water.

Pretty simple setup for a pretty fascinating animal. ✨

👋 Come say hello to our moon jellyfish in our Tentacles exhibit.

🐢 Meet Einstein, who is our only Hawksbill sea turtle has been with us since 1990. Einstein is a chronic “beacher.” She was found beached three separate times. She was released the first two times, but on the third one, she was deemed non-releasable. It's easy to identify Einstein because of her V-shaped jaw.

Come by our Turtle Tales presentations at 1:00 p.m. or 2:30 p.m. and see if you can spot Einstein! 💙
