Today we a celebrated Steve Prue Life and his memory as a great Past Master of Oso Lodge, Al Amin Shriner, Marshall of Provost shooter and the hundreds of good deeds he did as a Master Mason. His wife Mary with their family, friends and brothers lay his ashes to rest at Memory Gardens Cemetery. May the Great Architect of the Universe treat him well and I hope to see him again some day. Miss you brother!

USS Lexington Master Mason Degree

Brethren All,

Oso Naval Lodge No.1282 is happy to host the annual Master Masons Degree in the U.S.S. Lexington, a.k.a. "The Blue Ghost", once again this year September 7, 2024 at 8pm sharp in Corpus Christi, Texas!

We will be raising a worthy Brother from Corpus Christi No.189 to this sublime degree this year at 8pm, but boarding begins at 7pm. What does this mean to you? All Master Masons in attendance are encouraged to join us for a photo on the flight deck in front of all your favorite planes in history before we begin. We invite all our Brothers from around the world to join us as our very own Most Worshipful Grand Master of Texas, Tommy F. Chapman, confers the degree along with the second to none Degree Team, The Knights of Mecca!

If you have not seen a Texas Master Masons Degree performed by this Best in Class team in this setting, you may not want to miss this one. It may be their last Journey to the "City by the Bay" to perform this degree!

The Grand Master's dinner, which is open to our ladies as well, will be at Alamin Shrine! Doors open at 4pm, dinner at 5pm. Make sure and contact John Hollowell or Ike Eisenhower for tickets at only $35 a piece! The dinner will be catered by our very own Wolfgang Buschang, the owner and Chef of Jack's Dinner Bell. HURRY, SEATS ARE LIMITED FOR THE DINNER!

In keeping with our Best In Practice Lodge vision, you are invited to attend any one of our practice sessions!

Every Sunday practice begins at 11 am.
2nd Tuesday evening Floor school begins at 7 pm.
4th Tuesday evening Floor school begins at 7 pm.

Our regular stated meetings are held on 1st & 3rd Tuesday of every month.
Our 3rd Tuesday Stated Meeting is dedicated to a short business meeting followed by floor school and a presentation on the meaning behind the words.

Brothers, we would like to invite you and encourage your participation as we learn and fellowship together! See you there!
