Super 8 by Wyndham Corvallis is accepting applications for our Housekeeping team! Applicants must have open availability - holidays and weekends required. Job responsibilities include cleaning guest bedrooms/bathrooms, hallways, and other public areas according to Super 8 by Wyndham standards. The job entails activities like standing, walking, bending, reaching, and scrubbing. Physical stamina and mobility necessary. Must be able to move/lift/push/pull required load (usually about 30 pounds). Typical cleaning duties include sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors, dusting and cleaning furniture, replenishing room supplies, making beds with fresh linens, and equipping rooms with clean linens and amenities. Perform final inspection of room before releasing to next guest. Organize, clean, and restock cart as required. Report any maintenance issues and keep the Front Desk aware of any problems with the rooms. Must promote a positive image of the property to guests. Applicant MUST be reliable, honest, friendly, and hard-working. Able to pass criminal background check with satisfactory results. Shift starts at 9am, end time varies. Must be 18 years of age or older. Prior experience strongly preferred. Applications also accepted at the Front Desk.
