September 11, 2001 — We Will Never Forget
25 years ago today, our nation experienced a tragedy that forever changed the lives of so many.
Today, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives that were lost. We remember the mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, husbands, wives, friends, coworkers, and loved ones who never made it home.
We honor the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, first responders, military members, and everyday heroes who showed incredible courage—many running toward danger while others were trying to escape.
We remember the families who had to learn how to move forward with an empty seat at the table and a loved one forever missing from their lives.
And we remember how, in the days that followed, people came together. Strangers helped strangers. Communities supported one another. We were reminded of the strength that can be found in kindness, courage, compassion, and unity. ❤️🤍💙
Today, all of us at Comfort Suites Corvallis take a moment to remember, reflect, and honor every life affected by September 11, 2001.
May we never forget those we lost.
May we never forget those who answered the call to help.
May we never forget the sacrifices made that day and in the years that followed.
