The Harrison County Discovery Center brings Harrison County’s incredible history to life through interactive exhibits, hands-on experiences, natural history, cave exploration, and Civil War stories.

We are incredibly grateful to the Harrison County Community Foundation for providing grants that supported the planning, development, displays, and interpretation of the Discovery Center.

⭐️🎬Join us Saturday, September 5th, at Buffalo Trace Beach for a movie under the stars!

This screening will feature the 1995 Film Jumanji, starring Robin Williams. When two young siblings find an enchanted board game, they accidentally free a man who has been trapped inside its jungle world for 26 years, forcing them all to finish the dangerous game to undo the chaos it unleashes.

Bring your lawn chair or blanket, grab your friends and family, and settle in for a wild night of fun!

🌅 The movie will begin around 8:00–8:30 PM, depending on sunset.

🍿 Popcorn will be available for purchase, so come hungry for adventure!
