Black Cat Inn The Black Cat Inn is a large room over the garage in my home that is available through AirBnB.com. Relax with a huge assortment of DVDs, Direct TV and WIFI.

It is extremely private and spacious, (800 square feet including the bathroom and closet) making it a great alternative to a hotel. It features new carpeting, 2 queen beds and a large sectional sofa. There is also a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, desk and coffee table. The bathroom has 2 sinks, shower and a Jacuzzi-style tub all on a separate water heater from the main house. ys cool and comfortable with an easy to use heat pump, or warm with a beautiful gas fireplace. (There is an HDMI cable if needed)


The guest room is accessed by coming through the house and into the kitchen pantry- the stairway is completely hidden and serves as a sound barrier from the rest of the house! The original home was built in 1900, and the guest room addition was built around 2000. Buddy Beagle will greet you at the door and Godiva kitty will want a pet and a head-bump. The guest room is relatively allergy free; the main house is clean but has 2 cats and a dog, so if you have allergies remember your Claritin! (plus the Willamette Valley is an allergy hot-spot). Dogs and other pets are welcome!! Buddy is super-friendly:)

The back yard is tiny, but is good for dogs or to sit out in the sun. By July and August Cottage Grove will be bursting with blackberries, and in fall the neighborhood will have tons of apples and pears. I provide a continental breakfast and coffee/tea. Cottage Grove is 20 miles south of Eugene, making it a perfect place to stay for graduations, sporting events, vacations or business. Campus is a 20 minute drive, and the Eugene airport is about 45 minutes away. The #98 bus picks up on Main Street to get to Eugene. The Black Cat Inn is close to 2 golf courses, the Row River bike trail, wine tasting, waterfalls, 2 lakes and many hiking trails. Newport and Florence are easy day trips, and Portland is a scenic 2 hour drive.

It features a separate entrance, cathedral ceilings, skylights, 2 queen beds and a large sectional sofa. There is also a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. The bathroom has 2 sinks, shower and a Jacuzzi-style tub all on a separate water heater from the main house. The space stays cool and comfortable with an easy to use heat pump, or warm with a beautiful gas fireplace. Relax with a huge assortment of DVDs, Direct TV and WIFI. The original home was built in 1900, the guest room addition was built around 2000 and the new entrance added in 2018. Dogs and other pets are welcome!! The front yard is fenced for dogs to play in. (my 3 dogs live downstairs and are separated from the AirBnB space.)
